Enoch takes you on a journey of the highs and lows of love and sexual experiences. The poems on sexual trauma are so real, I find myself taking a moment to gather myself before moving on. He highlights the positive experiences of sex as well... leading to "gathering myself" in an entirely different way. Enoch's choice of words are nothing but pure artistry, and this is a beautiful compilation. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2021 )

Trauma, abuse, elation and ecstasy are not easy concepts to weave together, but Black manages the miracle of bringing them all together. This book of poetry is raw, honest and fascinating. His vulnerability left me aching, reflecting my own trauma and struggles. His tales were exciting and delightfully sinful - in only the way an incubus can be.
